What to Look for When Purchasing a Karaoke Microphone

"Good Lovin'," the 1966 hit by the Rascals, has been called an example of "white-hot, blue-eyed soul." Originally recorded by the West Coast R&B group The Olympics the year before, the song only reached number 81. But when the Rascals added their "one-two-three" count-in at the top and the full-stop false ending, they went to number one. After the recording the Rascals were unhappy and wanted another take but Atlantic Records producer Tom Dowd told them not to change anything... and he was right.
